If you have an existing listing that is active, we can take over management in as little as 24 hours. Once we have the keys and some information about the property, then we’re ready to start accepting reservations and hosting guests. For units that need to be prepared for the vacation rental market, we offer project management services to ensure every last detail is addressed. The overall length of time to start accepting reservations will depend on the level of preparation required and owner’s schedule.

Cost And Rate

MyVRHost has built a pricing algorithm to maximize rental rate based on market conditions and trends, similar to hotels and airlines. This dynamic pricing takes factors such as comparables, local events, and seasonal demand to make sure the pricing of your property is capturing the peak of the market and never goes empty. This is an advantage that we are happy to offer our owners and where we feel our services can often pay for themselves


 Owners are paid by the 10th business day of each month for all bookings that were completed during the previous month. These payments are delivered through our automated software system in the form of an ACH credit directly to your bank account and your statement is provided on our owner portal. This portal gives you the ability to view all of your reservations and activity on your account through any web-enabled device.

 Each month our customers receive a statement on or before the 7th of the month with a detailed account of the previous month’s reservations, payouts and any other expenses such as repairs and maintenance. We also include a list of all the bookings for the next 30 days and a year-to-date summary of the financial transactions on each of your properties. 

Property And Management

All guests must be vetted before their reservation is accepted. We pride ourselves on choosing great guests for your home that will return year after year.

Yes, all rental properties need to be fully functional with the type of amenities you would expect of a boutique hotel with cooking facilities. Our goal is to have your home show well! Homes that show well tend to rent more consistently and for a higher price. We will provide you with a checklist of what is needed.We can also assist with any other items your property may need.

MyVRHost collects a security deposit or damage fee to cover the costs of any items that may have sustained damage during a guest’s stay. We communicate with the guest to settle such issues and will aid in replacing the damaged item or transfer the funds collected to you at the end of the month.


No, but we do require that a unit serve as a vacation rental for the majority of the year. If an owner or their family and friends would like to stay at the property, you simply block those days out on the owner portal to ensure we do not take reservations during that time. 

You will never receive any guest calls. MyVRHost receives all guest calls, dispatching a handyman or service technician when needed. For all emergency repairs of $1,000.00 or less that require immediate attention, MyVRHost will dispatch the appropriate service vendor and cover the cost of the repair. At the end of the month we will reconcile this balance against the income from the property.
